At Anntoine Marketing + Design, we always strive to use our gifts to make a difference in the lives of people around us. One of the ways we’ve made an impact is by supporting the Richard Murphy Hospice House since 2017. The Hospice House provides terminally ill patients with the opportunity to receive round-the-clock care in a warm and homelike setting, at no cost to them or their families. Without the Hospice House, these patients would not have access to the kind of help, compassion, and comfort that they deserve.
In November, we had the pleasure of hosting a party for sponsors of the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation. Our office, a beautifully-restored Queen Anne house with a wraparound front porch, made for a perfect venue! Many of the Richard Murphy Hospice House’s most devoted supporters came out to celebrate the future of the organization and had an incredible time doing so. It was a delight to see so many community leaders band together to champion a cause we all care deeply about.
However, the sponsor party was just the lead-up to the main event: the annual RMHH Gala on Saturday, December 4th. This event serves as the primary fundraiser for the Richard Murphy Hospice House. Without the Gala and its sponsors, the organization could no longer maintain the Hospice House or continue its mission of providing palliative care for terminally ill patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
The theme for this year’s Gala was Pirates of the Caribbean: The Night of the Black Pearl. Guests enjoyed live music, lots of local culinary specialties and beverages, live and silent auctions, a car raffle, and much more. Our community showed up, and showed up big, to support this incredible organization.
Our team had a ball attending the 2021 Gala, and we were thrilled to see such a huge turnout. We are all looking forward to another year of supporting RMHH in 2022!
